Denmark considers getting Nato involved after ‘hybrid drone attacks’ above airports

Denmark is considering triggering Nato’s Article 4 after multiple drones were deployed on four of its airports.

Justice minister Peter Hummelgaard described the incursions as a ‘hybrid attack’ intended to spread fear.

Separately, minister of defence, Troels Lund Poulsen, said that no one has been found responsible for the incidents, but ‘it certainly doesn’t look like a coincidence, but looks systematic’.

He told a press conference this morning: ‘Everything indicates that it is a professional actor.’
