Kim Dotcom Claims Palantir Hack Exposed Global Surveillance and Military Secrets
Tech entrepreneur Kim Dotcom says data analytics company Palantir Technologies was hacked, alleging attackers used an artificial intelligence agent to gain “super-user access” to the firm’s systems.
In a post on X, Dotcom claimed the breach exposed sweeping global surveillance operations tied to Palantir co-founders Peter Thiel and Alex Karp. He did not provide evidence to support the claims, and there has been no independent confirmation that a hack occurred.
Dotcom alleges the attackers uncovered thousands of hours of transcribed and searchable conversations involving former U.S. President Donald Trump, U.S. Senator JD Vance, and entrepreneur Elon Musk. He further claims that devices, cars, and even private jets belonging to world leaders were secretly compromised, creating what he described as a vast archive of blackmail material.
He also alleges that Palantir works closely with the Central Intelligence Agency and is developing nuclear and biological weapons capabilities for Ukraine as part of efforts to counter Russia. According to Dotcom, the company believes those capabilities could be operational within a year and is using peace negotiations to buy time.
In addition, Dotcom claims Palantir played a central role in military operations in Gaza by developing artificial intelligence targeting systems for Israel. He accuses the company of being responsible for the majority of Palestinian deaths in the conflict.
Dotcom further alleges that Palantir functions as an arm of the CIA and that data from its international clients is copied into a U.S. intelligence “spy cloud.”
He says the hackers plan to provide the allegedly obtained data to Russia and/or China. Dotcom states he was chosen as a “trusted partner” for publication of the material but insists he was not involved in the breach and does not know the hackers personally. He maintains, however, that he believes the hack occurred.
Palantir, Thiel, and Karp have not publicly responded to the allegations. No government agency or cybersecurity firm has confirmed a breach.
The claims, if substantiated, would have sweeping geopolitical and legal implications. For now, they remain unverified.
