Quebec now requires the vaccine passport for entry to big box stores
In a press conference on Jan. 13, Quebec Premier François Legault announced that the vaccine passport will be required at big box stores that are 1,500 square metres in size or more, excluding grocery stores and pharmacies. Legault and Health Minister Christian Dubé mentioned Canadian Tire, Walmart and Costco as examples. This extension of the passport requirement, which comes into effect across the province on Jan. 24, follows a proof of vaccination requirement to enter the SAQ and SQDC as of Jan. 18.
