NFL sets single-day record with 37 new COVID cases - all vaccinated

With a whopping 37 new cases of COVID-19 reported among NFL players on Monday, the league will now require all coaches as well as front office and team personnel to receive a booster shot by December 27.

The 37 new cases of COVID-19 are the most infections the NFL has recorded in a single day since the start of the pandemic.

As the league sees dozens of new cases, a Tier 3 staffer with the Washington Football Team tested positive for Omicron, becoming the first known case of the highly contagious variant in the league, according to NFL.com
