The perpetrator of a mass shooting that left at least 18 people dead has been identified as a trained firearms instructor who spent two weeks in a mental health facility over the summer.

Maine police are hunting Robert Card, 40, in connection to the massacre in the city of Lewiston last night, which saw dozens across two locations in Maine killed or injured by the gunman's AR-15-style weapon.
